Join Us: Welcome Party for Ravenwood Outdoor Learning Center

EVENT DETAILS

When: Wednesday, October 18th, 5:15p and/or 6pm (see below for details)

Where: Fisher Court Reporting, Video Conferencing, Video Production & Meetings
www.fishercourtreporting.com, www.meetingsbozeman.com, 442 E Mendenhall Street. Located across from Hawthorn School.

Why: Ravenwood exists to nourish our communities and create an education model to share with the world. Sustaining the program depends on financial support to bring vision into reality. With so many positives already in place and thousands of children and families participating, we have an opportunity to inspire many others by continuing to nurture a connected, resilient, and thriving community where ALL children experience their birth right to deep connection with nature, a strong community fully committed to their health and well being, and a culture of service to the whole through the discovery, nurturing, and sharing of our individual gifts and talents. Brett hopes to raise awareness and interest in the Flathead summer camps and expand consulting and contract programming opportunities with Bozeman area schools and youth organizations. How: At 5:15, Ravenwood co-founder and director will offer an optional hands-on experience for guests to learn the basics of pine needle basketry. Or join at 6pm, when all guests and hosts will gather, share a moment of gratitude and enjoy homemade appetizers/tapas and drinks while visiting and networking, then participate in a conversation and presentation led by Brett focused on the impact of Ravenwood’s work and the exciting new programs and developments currently emerging. You’ll be invited to make a financial contribution at the close of the presentation.

We thank you deeply for investing what you can to enrich kids’ lives and co-create a more resilient and connected community.

We’ve cast the invite net widely, and only 20 spaces are available, so be sure to confirm your attendance right away.

RSVP: There is no ticket to purchase, just RSVP to brett@ravenwoodolc.org or text/call 406-260-8620, or to carisa@fishercourtreporting.com to reserve your place in the circle.

Here’s a note from one of our other house party hosts about her experience with the program…

Dear friends,

Many of you know that our family hosted a Colombian child this summer in our quest to adopt another child. As part of this child’s introduction to our family and our life in Montana, he participated in Ravenwood’s Music and Nature Camp alongside our son Morgan. This special camp experience proved to be one of the best experiences of his lifetime (actually his words were THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!). Ravenwood generated fond memories that he is holding close to his heart as he awaits his adoption into his forever family. This positive experience is one of the many reasons that I jumped at the opportunity to host a private house party fundraiser to build community support and awareness for Ravenwood’s important nature connection and mentoring work! – Lisa Gilbert
